Competition Winner!

Inspired by the extraordinary place-names of Shropshire, the University of Nottingham, in collaboration with Shrewsbury-based children's book specialist, Button & Bear, invited the children of the West Midlands to write a short story of no more than 500 words, using one of twelve Shropshire place-names as their inspiration.

Ariana (Year 3) entered the competition and won first prize in her age group (£50 book voucher for herself and £75 book voucher for Gobowen School) which is fantastic!
