The school subscribes to a number on online learning resources that can be accessed at home. Details of these programs can be found in the ‘Useful Links’ in the Parent’s section of the school website.

www.gobowenschool.co.uk/useful-links/

Pupils have been given usernames and passwords for these programs. If your child cannot remember their username or password, please contact their class teacher through Class Dojo.

Further information about what each class is learning can be found on the Curriculum page on this website.

Many educational resources are now being provided for free due to the school closures. Here are links to some sites that are providing support for home learning at this time:

From Monday April 20, parents, children and teachers can access 180 lessons a week for every year group from Reception through to year 10, through Oak National AcademyThe Academy has laid out weekly learning objectives for every year group up to Year 10.

The portal will provide the equivalent of three hours of lessons a day for primary students and four hours for secondary, with each lesson lasting an hour. This adds up to 180 hours of lesson time that will be continually produced until we're out of the woods with coronavirus.
