Shropshire Recovery Partnership

We provide a service across Shropshire to assist and support individuals affected by drug or alcohol use. SRP provides adults and young people with a range of treatment, one to one and group work support. The partnership has been commissioned by Shropshire Council to deliver services across the region. We have ‘Recovery Hubs’ in the main Towns.

Newstartnetworks cic We are a group of 4 qualified and experienced Social Work Practitioners, including a Practice Manager, all of whom are supported by an Office Manager. We specialise in providing therapeutic assessment and interventions for children and young people. Collectively, we have over 45 years of experience working with children and young people who have displayed harmful sexual behaviour or who have been traumatised due to experiences of abuse and neglect. All practitioners have a Post Graduate Certificate in Therapeutic Work with Children, two are Social Work Practice Teachers and two are qualified trainers. All of our team hold enhanced CRB checks, are GSCC registered and members of the British Association of Social Workers (BASW). Based in Shrewsbury, NewStart Networks offers services across England and Wales

U and I counselling

U&I Counselling is a voluntary service and the innovative vision of a group of local professional counsellors working to the
BACP code of ethics*. The ‘Integrative Approach’ offers expertise in many counselling models to suit the individual; supporting client need at different points of therapy. Referral to U&I can be via a doctor, agencies or people can make direct contact concerning specific or multiple issues. It is a confidential professional service available to Young People, Individuals, Couples and Families. Flexibility allows short or long term face to face work. Here at Gobowen we commission The Green Oak Foundation to work with specific pupils.
Who are The Green Oak Foundation? We are a Community Interest Company (not for profit) based in Shrewsbury.
